Sydney

I love Sydney, such a cool city! You get a little bit of everything, city life, beach life, music, art, nature…. At one point I tried moving here permanently, unfortunately, that didn’t work out but I would suggest anyone to either go visit or live there for a year!

Neighborhoods to visit

Many & the Northern Beaches | local surf vibe, on a Sunday grab takeaway and a drink and go chill at “the office”. Ask a local where it is.

The Eastern Suburbs | I would do the Coastal Walk starting at Coogee (grab a coffee at Coogee Pavillion) and head north. You will stop at all the best beaches along the way including Clovelly, Bronte, Tamarama and then ending at Bondi Beach. Be sure to stop and take a photo of the pools at Bondi Icebergs. If you are still looking for something, The Bucket List on Bondi Beach is also a great spot for lunch, sunset drinks or a night out.

Newtown | The more ‘hipster’ part of Sydney. Go here for some of the best coffee, cocktails and second hand shopping! You will definitely run into some live music somewhere along the way.

Paddington | So picturesque! The slightly hilly, curvy streets allow for the prettiest architecture. You will find some of the houses to still be houses, some are now boutiques and some are restaurants. Either way, Five Ways in Paddington is a great place to start. If you are looking for more shopping, just head up to Oxford Street.
